DPF Sensor

I have just been looking at the DPF canister, I was expecting to see some sensors (or pipes that feed to a pressure sensor) but can't - I am a little puzzled, where are the sensors?

That looks like a cat to me, not a particulate filter. The lack of a large band clamp near its base, is my reasoning.

It is a 2009 van first reg march 09, so quite a long time after PSA started fitting them to all vehicles (but before the compulsory fitting date)- I always thought it had a DPF on, in fact twice during last winter i thought it was regenerating as on a couple of occasions i noted quite a bit of white smoke being produced. It also has the Elios tank thing fitted (although I don't know if there is anything in it).

What else would confirm if this is a non DPF/FAP vehicle ?

Another photo from underneath in case that helps. And as you can see no pipes or sensors to measure pressure!

Lucky me, I have managed to acquire a van without the dreaded DPF - I did have my doubts when I bought the van last year - see this thread LINK
