WOW KEY PRICES

wel car came with 1 x key and no card ,got the codes of citroen 2 x codes £24 thats a rip off , then they want £200 for a key ,now called a mobile car lock smith, if i have the codes gone cost me £75 , now timpsons can do it at one there specialist branches so going there to find out more and a price , blimey this is getting expensive , any one had there key done this way .

I've had only one key for the last 6 years. If you've only one it teaches you to be carefull with it :thumbsup:

£200 sounds a lot! I paid £75 for a micra I had 10 years ago.

I have a lexia and aren't too far from you in Reading. I *might* be able to do this for you FOC.. BUT, I've never done it before, so we'd need to find the procedure for matching keys..

Including everything my independent Citroen repairer charged me £68 for a non-remote
key which also ensures that no previous keys will start the car. You're in Woolwich
which is not a million miles away....give them a ring and ask what they'd charge.

May not be the best help to you guys down south, but I can now cut and program keys, we do the flip keys from the MK111 for £75 inc vat, just so long as you have the transponder code to program it in.
I can only duplicate from an original , so no mail order.

well just been to timpsons in dartford ,its a key programe centre he taped a chip to my key ,i went to car turned it on and off 4 x 10 sec each go , took chip back done the lap top bit cut me a key and bingo all works well , and £50 all in so happy with that .
