Timing Belt change cost?
#1
Hi All,

what would you consider a reasonable price for an Independent to change a timing belt, waterpump and tensioners on my M59 2004 2.0 HDi Multispace?

Just curious..

Lighty should be able to offer comment on that; if he's away you could try a PM.

Found a thread about it now in which he commented.. £185+vat+£40 extra for the pump, so getting mine done for £250 all in, including oil and filter change wasn't bad at all :-)

Good price for that work Cool
I have just purchased a load of kits for the 2.0 and 1.6 HDI engines, so will be able to put together a slightly better offer soon.
