SW London Garage / Mechanic Reccommendations

Hi all,

Great forum here. I recently bought a 2005 Berlingo Van 1.9D and I obviously want to keep down time to a minimum. I am new to car ownership in London and wonder if anyone can recommend a good, reasonably priced mechanic in the SW London area. Looking to get a full service, clutch cable changed and *maybe* a new clutch.. :whistle:

I will travel a little further afield if it means a better and cheaper service.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

He owns a Berlingo van and has put a TD XUD engine in his, knows French cars inside out and is rebuilding a 205 rally car.

He's done the timing belt, clutch cable, de-cat, and exhaust backbox on mine.

Bit further than SW London as he's near Aldershot but I make the trip from Chertsey as it's worth it!
