I don't seem to be able to get these to work (although this could be due to me using Firefox 4).

Is there something I'm missing about how they work?

You should be able to just click either up or down, and it will add a number to which ever you have selected!

Im using FF4 with no issues.

Give them a click on this post, let me know.

I don't even get a pointing hand when I hover the mouse over them, tried other browsers and don't get anything either.

Yep I see them, but don't seem to be able to click them
