Set an economy record this weekend for my DW8 Multispace - 38mpg - 430 miles to a tank.
While towing 350kg of motorbike and trailer.
And loaded up with motorbike gear, clothes, tools.
Slipstreaming and doing 55 - 70mpg (Depending on mood) is definitely the way forward! I even had to odd burst up to 80mph, and had to leave the engine ticking over for a while on one day as I flattened the battery with my electric coolbox.
So there you go!

You do know the limit for towing is lower than for a car alone don't you ? I hope you were on private roads doing these outlandish speeds and didn't use the outside lane on any motorways.
So where does this bit go then ?

A very mundane diesel; reliable but not a rocket.
