What trim level?
#1
Looking at buying a Mk1 (M49) Berlingo and after checking here

http://www.berlingoforum.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=31

it tells me that if it is a 2002 model Diesel with the chassis numbers MFWJYB it's a non turbo (log book says 1868cc) with the trim level of X - SX.

Will it have central locking and power windows?

Bloke who's got it for sale says it's a turbo but no central locking or power windows, I'm now getting a bit confused, so can anybody help me?
It's advertised as a 2002 Multispace Forte if that helps??

Don't S, SX trim levels refer to vans?

I am a bit confused as you are saying that it is a Multispace (car) where "Forte" is one of the trim levels.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

If it's a Forte does it have central locking and power windows as standard?

Yes it should, although not necessarily with a remote - it may be via the old-fashion "key in the lock" method.

Google "berlingo forte spec".

I'd be more worried about the engine. As stated above if it's a 1.9 then it's not a Turbo, so why is the seller telling you it is? Where is the advert for it?

The Mk 1 (M49) Berlingo Multispace Forte did not come with central locking and power windows as standard. They were, however, available as options. (My 2002 Mk 1 Berlingo had neither.)
