I think if buying outside the dealer network you could also try Broadspeed who seem to do really good deals. They also offer leather interior for £1200!!!

Hi Thomas
Looking at your example, personally I would question the value of adding over €6000 of extras to what is essentially the lowest spec model (75). The depreciation is going to be scary. If it were my money, I would take fewer options but be looking at least at the "90". Then again if it were me, I would probably try to find an ex-demo or nearly new one. How does the Irish market compare to the UK for choice and pricing?

ITS A TYPICAL REVIEW , but I think they review them based on a normal car review. i.e. they dont use it to carry things in real lifem to do all the multitask things we often need today. Yes its not a racing car , but hey, look at the bloody shape.....would you expect it to fly???
Its a brilliant vehical for doing almost everything and if its empty its got a fair bit of go in it. But if you want a boy racer then look elsewhere. It will do 50 mph, it will carry 4 fridges or freezers it will carry 4 railway sleepers, it will let you sleep in back with seats out,
I am more than pleased,
Pete

I agree totally, I was commenting on whether one would be wise financially to put €6000 of extras onto a base model Berlingo, or indeed onto any £13-14,000 new car.

I agree too, much better to buy a 90 or 110 (sounds like buying a Land Rover!) which will come with many of these options, a better engine, and higher resale value (because no matter many options a car has, a base model will always be a base model)
