rear brake hose change
#1
Got a "sweaty" hose.

The brackets holding each end of the hose onto the body have little clips trapped by the pipe nut (I think).

Are these necessary - what purpose do they serve ?

I've managed to move most of the pipe connections, but I'm assuming the pipes will shear somewhere, so I probably end up changing both of these too.

So it will be all new from limiter valve down to the wheel cylinder.

You say copper pipe???
Probably copper coated steel pipe more like, don't think copper piping is legal for brake pipes as it is too soft!!!

Are you sure it is not what they call "Kunifer" pipe which is an alloy or mixture of copper, nickel and steel ????

Just done a "Google" and the jury is still out on this one....
