Cambelt
#1
Hi Guys owned my 2004 Belingo Desire for a couple of months now and i'm very pleased with it, it's a 1.6 petrol and has covered 75,000 miles with fsh but no mention of a cambelt change, can anyone tell me what the recommended mileage is for changing and also if anyone on the forum has had one changed recently what the cost might be.

Cheers.
Kev.

A quick search should clarify but from memory, the reccommended change is about 65-75k, and it should be about £150 inc labour.

The thing was, we wanted to make sure the mech wasnt using some crappy copy part, so we bought the kit from citroen, and gave it to a garage to do, and it worked out roughly the same in costs, but the piece of mind is worth a lot.
