I've just seen an article in my local rag about the new Berlingo - E , an electric  Berlingo with a range of up to 106 miles.
I read it in the Bognor Observer, and I think this is the link but I'm not a computer nerd so may have got it wrong:  http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/citroen/ber...e-unveiled

I cannot find it on the Citroen website.

Has anyone else any news on this?

From Phillips link - " up to 60 miles per charge " ...... just about enough range to drive it to the scrappy !!

Now if the range was better it would be a different story .............................

From rnammans link - " a range of up to 106 miles " ..... like my grandsons school report " must do better " especially at the price !!!

"Up to" is the problem. What is the range in the depths of winter with cold batteries, lights, wipers and heater on and allowing for a safety margin to find a charging point that is available and working.

Most e vehicles require a battery hire contract to replace them after their life is over which isn't cheap. There may well be a market for them but I won't be one of the buyers.
