[Warning Light] airbag light on dash
#1
Hi. The steering wheel on my mk2 2004 berlingo was loose. I got the airbag off carefully , making sure I didint disturb it to much, tightened the wheel and put back together. The airbag light has come on the dash when I re connected the battery. Anyone any ideas on how I can get the light off. Thanks

It's possible the clockspring is damaged or mis-set. This is part of the COMMs unit or control hub, accessed by removal of the steering wheel.

When adjusting it prior to install, make sure the little indexing arrows match up perfectly. They're on the rotating ring and its surround.

Take it off again and recheck both the connectors (ignition off) disconnect and reconnect both
