After market head unit turning off with ignition?
#1
Hi just fitted a new head unit into my 06 Partner. Just wondering how I get it to turn off with the ignition as so far it is not. Also does anyone know what the name of the adaptor is to allow the steering controls to work. Maybe pick a cheap one off eBay?

Firstly have you tried swapping over the changable red and yellow wires on the head unit? They pull apart and the Berlingo normally need them to be swapped.

The adaptors were on ebay last time I looked. Something like this I imagine?

Thanks was going to do that but my yellow and red don't pull apart and I have a plastic thing attached to yellow.
I think I have one of those adapters for my old car but
Not sure how to wire it up?

This is my set up so far but the unit will not turn off with ignition and save stations and also steering controls do not work but controls not priority atm.[Image: nvquew.jpg]

the second picture is what is not being used. It was attached in the original car that the head unit was in. Anyone know if any of it could be used to solve any of my issues? [Image: 63x4w8.jpg]
