Well I've had my XTR Multispace Airdream for three months, just over 1100 miles covered so far and returning an average of 50mpg. I love the vehicle, even the gearchange is very smooth when left on Auto, perhaps 1st to 2nd could be better but it's down to throttle control I think! It certainly was a good vehicle choice for my early retirement car.

Agreed, anyone who complains about the gear change is not using the throttle correct. I've tried a few times in manual, waste of time, just leave it in auto.
Handling is smooth but with excessive roll, as you would expect with this type of car/van.

Yes I agree on the "excessive roll" comment, but as you say it is that sort of vehicle, I guess it has quite a high centre of gravity. I'm sure it wouldn't fall over but I do take care on some of those winding motorway sliproads. As for the gearchange paddles, I only use them when I think it should have changed up to save fuel, generally when going down hill.

I love the car to bits but some of my friends think I'm weird to by one, my Wife hated it until she realised what a comfortable ride you get and how much stuff you can get in the back for our CP charity functions.

Totally disagree...... try busy peak time inner- city driving,stop-start traffic, extreme inclines especially if immediately after moving away and / or turning at junctions etc, and I do use throttle as intended.
Disagree about excessive body roll, seems fine to me, but it could be caused by inappropriate speed etc :whistle:

Perhaps there's a problem with your particular vehicle, I drive in town and country and don't really have a problem, the stop/start can be a pain when in a queue of traffic creeping along and often needs to be turned off. Regarding inappropriate speed, I don't think so, since giving up my company car and free fuel I stick to speed limits and below to conserve the precious diesel and use cruise control whenever possible.:S

Sorry if you have been upset by the comments, but I think it all started with you disagreeing with my comments. All vehicles and driving styles are subjective, we all drive differently and have different vehicles so I would suggest we all accept that our opinions are "our opinions" and not let the thread get heated and out of control. I've also been driving various vehicles for 45 years so lets just say we agree to differ. :brickwall:

Sorry if you have been upset by the comments, but I think it all started with you disagreeing with my comments. Disagreed about a comment putting blame on basically drivers error causing problems, but not upset, and did not think the discussion was on the road to being heated etc.-in fact I have always thought voicing opinions as a part of forums-In previous threads I did state there was a problem with clutch on my EGS model, and Citroen dealer says clutch is guaranteed for 6 months !!! Got ECU update which appears to have fixed the problem,( I hope ), although other drivers noticed burning clutch smell from their EGS model, it doesn't seem to like reversing uphill ! Hope you enjoy the Airdream.
