Hi Folks, I recently bought a lovely green (ex Irish post van) berlingo and something has been bothering me. When the lights are in their off position the dipped lights are on and the dash lights are off bar the light which shows your lights are on. When I turn the stalk to side lights, naturally the side lights come on and so too the dash lights and also the same then when I turn the stalk to the dipped lights. I guess my question is is there anyone out there with a 07 berlingo whose lights dipped lights are on when in the off position? Would this have anything to do with poor display from the radio read out on the top of the dash? Any help greatly appreciated.

the poor display is due to the little bulbs gone at the back of the display, -- they are standard dash bulbs and easy to replace.
Headlight issue, is down to the BSI, -- so ask Peugeot, if they can turn off the daylight option on your van.

The display is supposed to dim if the lights are on to reduce night time glare
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

actually this is not the case, -- the car thinks the lights are off, and turns off the lights of the clocks illumination. The display should be on full light, and if not, then the bulbs are the problem.
There seems to be the option to have the dims on regardless the position of the switch, as it is deemed to be a safety feature to be seen earlier.
This option can be switched on and off by Peugeot in the BSI module.

Have a search for someone in your area that has the lexia software that could sort it out for you. There are club members on this and and other french car forums that offer their services for a small fee or drinking tokens.
Are we there yet?????
