Would there be anything gained from changing from my original 15" 205x65 wheel/tyre setup to a 16" 215x55 setup? Any disadvantages? I'm going to be needing new summer tyres when I change over to winter tyres in late fall and was just thinking about this. Thanks for your opinions.

The rolling radius will be just about the same.
You'll notice a harsher ride though, less sidewall to take up the roughness of the road, and the tyres will be more expensive

Thank you for the response and the link. I'll bookmark that. A rougher ride I don't need so I guess I'll stick with what I have.

I would stick with the 15" setup, you're not going to gain anything going to the larger 16" wheels.
