mk1 berlingo with central locking, locking the driver door all lock except the driver sliding door lock, if i turn the key to lock it again it will lock, cant think that think that this is normal?
any idea's?

Are the contact pads and pins clean?
2006 2.0hdi 600 with bench seat.

yeah they are clean, it alway works on the 2nd turn of they key, i read on another forum apparently its meant to do that, allowing you to work out the side door whilst the others are lock.

ok something weird i've noticed, if i move the sliding door handle maybe a couple of mm and then lock the doors it does lock on the 1st turn of the key.

Sounds like something between the handle and locking servo needs adjusting, time to take the inside trim off and see whats happening.
Are we there yet?????
