my 1.6 berlingo starting to smell oil coming through the vents anybody had this problem

Check for oil leaking onto hot bits,ie ex manifold.Good luck.:thumbsup:

On a 1.6 it could be combustion gases leaking from around the injectors, yhis causes the worst in car stench

its not a bad smell just a little bit like burning oil when you have the heater on

Heater matrix if it has a slightly spicy smell to it. Mine has been like that for 6 years. Loses a tiny amount over 2 or 3 months from the coolant level.

I know a lady who was taken to task by someone for not putting her dogs on a vegetarian diet. She replied that anyone who wants to share their living room with 5 labs that had cauliflower cheese for tea is welcome to. Says it all really.... :eek:
