Get the mechanical key cutting code off a dealer -you'll need your V5 to prove entitlement. Could cost up to £25. Then choose a locksmith to cut the key for under £20. If its not an immobiliser ECU (pre 2000 approximately) you're good to go.

Almost any local locksmith who does auto work will be able to do it
assuming he has a blank.

get a cable tie and loop it the wrong way (so it doesn't click) and bend the door top very very slightly so you can get the loop down to the door pin and pull the pin up with the cable tie? worked when a friend locked himself out of his micra haha
