Revived 1.9D
#1
Just a wee note to anyone with a dour 1.9D. My van was rather sickly and wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding or do much more than 55/60 until I discovered the slack in the throttle cable. Once I had adjusted this, the van was pulling up to about 75/80 mph no problem. It was also much quicker off the mark and pulls my trailer almost effortlessly now. All this and it even appears to be better on fuel economy now that it isn't struggling to get going. And it didn't cost a penny. Worth a try if yours is a bit "dead".Hope this helps some of you out there.
Dave.

you can also tweak the ful pump a tad as they seemed to come with varying states of tune from slow to slightly slow from the factory, im going to play with the timing aswell in mine
