Hi, I'm seeking a Berlingo probably 2003 - 2005, 1.6 - 2l - any news on what mileage cambelt change is required would be mega helpful please. I have combed the forum and found a 1.9l and a 2l both having changes at 80,000 mile intervals. Does this hold true for 1.6l too? Thanks in anticipation!

I may be wrong but think that the 1.6HDI diesel was not available anyway until after 2005 when the 2.0HDI was phased out. Somebody else may tell you otherwise so don't quote me...
May have to wait until tommorrw as a lot of the good old boys may have gone to bed by now.... Hee Hee

I wouldn't worry what mileage the book / citroen say. If you are buying a 2nd hand car please get the pulleys, belt and waterpump changed regardless. Dont go on somebodys word that it has been changed. A pulley, belt and pump can be had for £100. Its not worth not doing it!

The change interval for the 2.0l is 100,000 or 80,000 if the vehicle is used mainly for short journeys/town work.
