what fuse do you recommend placing along the wire please?
I've got a perm live coming from the battery that is already fused as it goes to my amp - can i take a thinner cable off this where it connects into the amp and run it back to the headunit? seems to make more sense?

Those were the pins I used and are the pins on the berlingo end not a harness. My stereo works completely fine and stores memory without having to splice off or go to the battery direct

splice from the amp..... as long as the rating of the fuse is less than the rating of the wire...... eg: 10 - 15, with audio you will be fine. Bypasses all the BSI nonsense also... no eco mod etc.......

That'll do, juke make sure it has the appropriate sized fuse!
