Locking pins for cambelt
#1
Hi
I'm going to change my cambelt but I have one issue concerning one of the locking pins.
From reading all the relevant instruction and diagrams I have a good understanding of the procedure BUT my only issue is the locking of the fly wheel from the starter motor side ??? I have the necessary pins but for the life of me I can't find the corresponding holes? Am I missing something?
I have an 03 1.9 berlingo

It's well hidden but it will be there. Think I had to remove the starter motor to see it.

Its between the starter motor and engine block, easier got to if you remove the starter!

The pin location hiding behind the starter motor is there purely for aligning the flywheel and NOT for locking the flywheel whilst undoing the crank nut etc so take care here as a pin that is installed here may be bent and not want to come out. Lock the flywheel by using a bracket made to engage with the ring gear teeth.
