Greetings from Silver Hornet
#1
Hello everyone,

Thought I would say hello.

Proud owner of an ex environmental agency 1.9 berlingo diesel van in Northampton.

Had it a week and it's still going bought with 11 and a half months mot so fingers crossed.

Had a water damaged unit replaced prior to purchase and currently trying to work out if that means I will regret it later.

All the best and hope as my experience grows I can contribute , happy too but knowledge will be to quoting the haynes manual for now.

All the best

Hi and welcome from me too!!

You say: "Had a water damaged unit replaced prior to purchase and currently trying to work out if that means I will regret it later."

I would suspect that would be the BSI board in the dash beneath the right of the steering wheel. As long as whoever changed it also cured the
water leak (generally caused by the front scuttle being full of leaves and debris) you should be OK. I'd take it to a competant independent
Citroen/Peugeot repairer for a full service and tell him about the new BSI and he can check to see if the leak has been cured, just for
your peace of mind.
The Older I get the Better I Was!  Cool
