removing front strut

is possible to remove the front strut, without using spring compressors.
i understand that you only need the spring compressors when changing the spring itself.

Sure, you may need to remove the wishbone to free the ball joint taper but it can readily be done.

After removing the ball joint nut/bolt knock a chisel in the gap to spread it open.
