hello
#1
i own a berlingo and have done a few conversions on them, one of which being the loudest berlingo in the country, it managed 163.2db in european competition and made me the only guy from the uk to win a european title in db drag racing car stereo competition (pro car audio/alarm installer since i left school - im now 36 Wink )

my coupe was a lovely car, ill start a thread with pics of my french nutter stuff Smile

i have also built a v6 partner van (properly, brakes suspension rear disc conversion et al) with the later xfx 210bhp engine from the coupe and am getting urges to do another and supercharge it this time! Smile

i also happen to work at a french car specialist in derbyshire as well complete with planet and lexia diagnostics Smile

i like vans and fancy making my current 55' dw8 berlingo into a camper conversion for one so i can use it when i go camping, complete with night heater and sound system plus lowered and another set of the best kept secret 16" wheels peugeot ever made Wink

You mean the optional 16" steelies from late 406s?

Not sure; probably 6J. Hard to find used! The first facelift C5 offered the same size (whether it was 6 or 6.5) in steel and they seem to come up more often.

not 6j, theres a 6.5j x 16 rim available, but if your a bit nerdy and have a few quid spare then a coupe for approx one month had a 16 x 7 spare in steel, they come in black and are about 40 quid plus vat, they look like deep dish steelies (they are as those fitted to the v6 van in my other thread)

for anyone looking they arent under steel rims in any of the 406 parts pics on service box, they are found in the alloy wheel section and only in one picture Wink they are the same dimensions as the coupe starfish wheels and are 16jx7 et15, they take a 205 45 16 tyre and just catch slightly with that size tyre with decent weight in the rear but a touch of arch rolling/trimming sorts that Wink

Well I'm not new, but oughta refresh this page as I'm trying to chime in and help more often Smile I'm now self employed as an auto electrician/camper van builder/generally anything to do with 12v! I have planet and lexia so various tasks on French stuff is made easier, I also have a Delphi scanner which does all sorts and a vagcom for vw stuff!

I have read of a planet map for people with planet
