17'' Wheels on Mk1 & Mk2 models

All of the OEM wheels require spacers for sure, to correct the offset, but they look niiiiiiiice!

You have to use what - a 35 profile tyre?

In Australia the bad road quality would destroy them quickly. :/

I'd worked out that to preserve rolling diameter on my 2000 with 16" wheels, it would require 45 profile tyres at 205 width. Being an everyday car that gets pushed hard, it seemed impractical - even though a bit of improvement to the handling could be expected. Hence my reserve about actually using 17" wheels.

On my previous Berlingo i had 16" wheels with 205 55 16 tyres.
On my current Berlingo i wanted the "Waggon Wheel" effect so plumbed for the 17"
