2.0 hdi wishbone bolt spinning

Hey as title says has any1 had this problem it's the big bolt on the middle of the wishone holding it on to the shell it's supposed to have a cage bit at the other side of the bolt with lugs on it that holds it mines is broken and the bolt keeps turning so now I can't get the bolt out and can get in about it to sort it any one else had this problem:brickwall:

Cut it off with a grinder and thin cutting disc.

do you mean the wishbone or the subframe? the wishbone has one captive at the front which is 18mm pointing toward the read of the van, the subframe bolts go upwards towards the bonnet

on some vehicles rust gets hold (upawards ones though the subframe) and the bolt doesnt want to come out and you have to delicately open the chassis with a grinder if theres no holes to get a ring spanner into, and weld it up afterwards... pain in the arse when it happens...

sometimes if theres a little hole you can get a flat blade screwdriver in and wedge the nut but its worth spraying proper penetrating oil on the threads thru the hole (just drown the sod!) and leaving it for an hr or so

the wishbone bolts into a welded in lump which ive never had spin
