multispace, 1.6 petrol, 03 plate
Indicator stalk feels loose, and wiggling it causes clock display to dim
Central locking becoming temperamental. Doors all shut, but interior light flashes as though a door is still open
Then today, heater only blowing warm air. Drove for about 200 miles and STOP light came up on dash. Temp gauge then shot up, no other warning lights on dash. Stopped car, let it cool down. Radiator fan working, but coolant tank empty. Added coolant. Drove final 3 miles home. Temp gauge going up and down, then STOP light came back on. Wife following behind said it looked like exhaust blowing, but it was a cold night, so is this normal? Checked radiator once home and coolant pouring out (no sludge visible), but cant see where leak is from. Checked dipstick, oil normal colour/consistency.
About 4m ago, fan was overrunning. Faulty switch replaced and been ok since.
Does it sound like the head has gone? If so, what is cost of repair?
