Need help identifying object

Hi, could I please have some help identifying this object, it fell out at my feet when I was driving my 1.9d berlingo 00, it's off one of the pedals but I can't identify which one, any help appreciated, all pedals are working perfect

It is off the clutch pedal, mine fell off my Mk2 I never bothered to replace it, and in the following 5 years it never caused any problem.
