eml light on
#1
good morning
i have got a 05 berlingo multisapce 1.9d just had a full service and a cambelt and water pump change on it, it seem to now struggle to start but does, then while driving to work the eml comes on, any thoughts, its had a new alternator a few months ago which also brought the eml light on when it failed but when it was replaced it went out, would the battery also cause the light to come on.
thanks

Problems with the battery and alternator would normally light up the battery light. My faulty alternator didn't affect the EML.

The EML is usually faults with the ignition / emisions and the like.

You need to have the code(s) read to be any the wiser.

Did they disconnect the battery during the work and just reconnect it ? It could need a BSI reset have a read on BBA reman site or search the forum and you will find useful information.
So where does this bit go then ?
