Just picked up my new (to me) Berlingo L2

Hi All,:wave:

I've picked up my 10 plate Berlingo 1.6HDi L2 van on Wednesday and all was fine until...
I get on the motorway and try to overtake someone, get to 73mph and bam the van stops accelarating, I take it the previous owners had a limiter fitted. Now my question, does anyone know if they are easy to remove / deactivate? I believe there are different types of limiters, do you now how I find out which one I have?

Also when I start it up I hear some strange noises coming from behind the radio, sounds like clicking or possibly electrical, only lasts for about 30 seconds then goes, anyone know what this could be?

Hi Lee welcome to the forum not sure how they restrict them now but you could try the supplying dealer thats stamped in the front of the service book they should know if it was done from new as it was done by them or a company they used. Or try the last owner thats in the V5 logbook they may have had it done.
