Hello forum users

Here's my newbie intro thread

I've recently purchased a 53 plate 1.9 Berlingo Van to take me and my mountain bike on tours around England and Wales. After selling my BMW 325 Touring I was a bit dubious about buying a van especially a 70 or so BHP diesel van, but I've had it a week or so now and I absolutely love it!! Great driving position, massive front windscreen, really good on fuel and oh so easy to load my bike and kit (especially post ride when it's covered in mud!!)

My little Berlingo biking wagon has a couple of niggly issues that I want to sort asap, I will be posting a couple of threads on the forum for some expert advice!

I'm looking forward to many a happy year driving my little Berlingo and using this forum for sourcing info Smile

Regards

Jamie

They are not quick, rattle and have their problems but they have character ! I like driving mine more than my new Honda jazz , much to my wife's annoyance !

Hello Again

Thank you for the replies!

I've had a few more outings in my berlingo and every time I use it, it puts a smile on my face Smile. I can't believe how much this little van has changed my attitude towards driving, before I really didn't enjoy driving, but now I'm happy to just potter along in my 1.9, slow and easy and not using much fuel, fantastic!

Having spent a bit of time browsing through the forum, I've found the answer to one of the niggles (horn working without ignition only) and can sort that, just need to find out why the centre display (radio/time etc) is dim during the day and not visible at night and I'm all sorted, I've been told it's just a bulb, hope so, that's something I could probably sort, LOL!

Great little van, fab forum . . . all is sound on the motoring front

Regards

Jamie
