I seem to be having problems with my remote fob ,sometimes it works fine but at times it doesn't ,can someone explain how this fob works .
Also the key doesn't unlock the doors but opens the fuel cap ok.
Love my new berlingo ,,,,
Is there a warning light if the battery is getting flat in the fob ?

hi maybe the battery is flat in your fob try replacing this, the door locks might have been changed in the past thas why they might not work or the door barrels might need freeing off abit.
the fob send a infer red signal the car which activates the central locking motors to unlock the car, i think its along those lines.
also try putting the key in the ignition turn it so the dash lights up then press the lock and unlock buttons, this works on vauxhalls when they become unsyncronised
