key very hard to turn

Hi, I only have one key and I am having trouble turning the ignition ,I've got a new ignition barrel but could it just be a worn out key has anyone had this problem ,could a new key get my ignition working correctly again thanks

Strangely enough mine has got stiff over the last week or so (ooh er missus!!)

Ive persevered so far as it hasn't got worse, but am waiting to see if it does

Possibly. If the 'new' barrel is new I would spray some silicon spray into it and gently work it.
