hi ive just had my cambelt, water pump and aux belt replaced also had a oil and filter change. so thats a worry of my mind. although it had full service history there was nothing about the cam belt. today i brought a feul filter as i forgot to get one.thought it best to replace it as ive had her over a year. im going to fit it myself...so could you tell me the best way to tackle it as ive heard they can be a bit of a problem. many thanks.
its a 2004 2.0 hdi.

done the fuel filter today i used a oil filter removing strap.it was very tight but moved in the end.took around 10 minutes to do. they did supply the wrong filter at first, the differance is....if your filter has a large plastic nut on the top,the filter has a shape molded on the top....if you have no nut but a outer screw ring then the filter is flat at the top and the bottom.this might save someone a bit of running around. cheers
