Inclinometer??
#1
I live in North Yorks very close to Rosedale Chimney Bank, supposedly steeper that a 1 in 3.
Going up the hill is fine, but when I come down it, the Blingo dash flashes STOP at me together with the handbrake sign and warning bleeps. Very consistent at the same point of the hill.
Is it fitted with some kind of inclinometer, if you get my angle??

It will probably be the brake fluid level warning. Try topping it up a bit Big Grin You can get an app for your phone telling what angle it is at, just sit it on your dash and in future avoid steep hills. Wink
So where does this bit go then ?

Raid a Shogun and bolt one of these to these to the dash Big Grin

Yeah it'll be the hill tipping the fluid under the fluid warning level sensor thingy. My van used to do it for the coolant on steep hills untill I topped it up. Oil level varies massively on mine depending where I park it lol.

I am still surprised how much the oil level varies on a slope. If I park on a slight camber the electronic oil level thingy often shows less than full , even down to empty on a few occasions and that's on a really slight slope. I know the level is ok because I check it regularly.

Mine did this twice today as I was coming down on long incline on the A686 near Alston in Cumbria. Had the Stop light, brake warning light & the beeper going. The brakes where working fine and pedal was firm, when I checked the fluid it was on the max mark :-S

I'm inclined to think this car's scared of heights and this is a cry for help!
