Waited and waited for the day to get a call from the dealer to say come pick up your berlingo. Well here it is. Just as I got it, but plan to plywood and carpet the floor, ply and carpet for the sides, Son works for a steel fabricator and he can make stainless side bars with LED's, fit mudflaps, towbar. Wind deflectors and tinted sunstrip maybe..Some morning dew pics

I was finishing off the interior carpet and plywood and took a few snaps. I didnt like the dealers ply lining, how it was done, 4 small L brackets and 6mm screws, 3mm ply and the price tag of £180+vat. So I got a sheet of ply and had a sheet of ply with a rubber covering left over from something else so put that down on the floor (used csk bolts where the tie down fixings were, so didn't need to screw thro' the floor), kept the original pvc liner in place as it was fitted well around the rear door catches.

once I had the industrial grade carpet down which was left over from a job, i put on sound deadening pads on the panels, cut polyurethene insulation and fixed small battens to screw the ply sides to. Done the recessed side pocket in ply and carpet as well

The painted back bumper has a throw over cloth to help protect it from scrapes, we will see if it works in due course

and a length of aluminium to help protect the edge of the carpet

one other extra I fitted was a video recorder just in case anything happens

and one last pic
