Visited the Canal and Boat Festival at Etruria Museum yesterday.
This lovely pristine example of a GRP composite hull cabin cruiser was spotted moored on the far bank next to a bridge abutment.
Please view photos for name of the vessel. Hardly a ship or a boat, more like a floating wreck if you ask me.
The name on the bows of the hull could explain the dubious marks and discolouration on the brickwork behind it :lol:

I've just purchased a 50% share of and been nominated master of 'Uhura-Blue'
It's an Enterpise dinghy (hence the name) and is just having a few minor repairs and a repaint before going in the water

There's a speedboat round here called 'don't panic' but it's only readable if the boat is upside down .

We called ours DILLIGAF. It was home built from plans bought over the interweb.
After a couple of structural modifications to take the 33% hike in power over the design it went quite well......Anyway, as you might expect, we were eventually stopped by the MOD Police for speeding !! When it came time to take down our particulars (ooh-er missus) for the warning, my mate who was driving at the time couldn't bring himself to give the name of the boat as he thought he might get in even more trouble.
