correct oil and sump guard ?

Really confused re which oil for 55 plate 1.6hdi, also can the oil be drained without removing the sump guard, if not how many bolts hold it

Yes the sump guard will have to be removed.Three or four bolts I believe.
Total Quartz INEO ECS 5w 30 is recommended or any other brand which meets
the NORM PSA PEUGEOT & CITROEN B71 2290.

There is a dzus fastener in the centre front that just needs a quarter turn. Also on the front is 2 x10mm nuts left and right then on the outer edge of the tray are 2 plastic quarter turn clips (one each side) they are usually missing but can be got from a factors for a few quid

These attach the tray to the inner wing liner. And lastly 1 x10 mm nut in the centre at the back. When you refit the tray make sure it fits correctly on the subframe and it wont flap about and and get caught.
