Seriously, think the Berlingos are an alright motor and not heard any really bad reports.

Personally, I think that the petrol engined Berlingos are more reliable :runs and hides:
Depending on what you plan to use it for, you might find the 1.4 a bit under-powered, but if you are not planning on towing, shifting heavy loads or beating lap records then I am sure you will like it.
Have you got any links for ones that you are looking at?
