Big thanks to Telfords Carlisle

For a very pleasant buying experience. From the very first visit to ask for a price for the car & options I wanted they have been great. No tactics, no bullsh!t, courteous & professional. I have plenty of experience to compare them with. They gave the best price from the outset without even asking or knowing what I'd been offered elsewhere. They beat even the big volume shifters prices down south by a country mile.

Car was well prep'd & in the showroom with a cover over it to keep browsers fingers off it & to give a sense of occasion. Collected us from the station & plenty of coffee & hot chocolate & a photo for the album. Hand over was also very thorough.

I'd ordered a few accessories. One is on back order for a short while & the salesman had forgotten the front & rear rubber mats I'd added to the order later. Very apologetic & they will be with them shortly. The car came with a set of proper front & rear complimentary carpet mats anyway.

Very pleased with the car & enjoyed the 60 mile drive home.

Those rear footwell cubby hole covers really are naff! Very thin & fiddly to replace if you detach them. I'll be stowing stuff there but not stuff I'll need access to that often but I think I'll be fabricating some metal covers very soon.

Feel free to post a pic without the cover. My dealer had the same sort of cover on mine when I picked it up. You're certainly right about the covers for the foot well cubby holes. Really shoddy. If you come up with an alternative please post as I'd be interested in replacing mine. I store the jack and tools in one. Hope you have thousands of trouble free miles.

The rear rubber mats are in 2 pieces that join in the middle & are quite thick. I've had them in mine since new & cubby hole lids are still intact after nearly 5yrs.

Unfortunately after 130 miles the engine management light & engine fault message came on. Didn't go into limp mode & drove normally. Currently in Lookers in Liverpool where a tech is kindly taking a late lunch so he can look at it now.
