Hello berliguists everywhere
Just found the forum and thought I'd have a look round. I bought one of these vehicles last December after a disastrous eight days with a Mercedes B class which nearly killed us when the lights all went out at 60mph one night and the dealer wondered why I didn't want to drive it again!
I took my money and ran to citroen in Glasgow where I bought a Multispace xtr 1.6D with the egs6 gearbox. So I've used it for almost exactly one year and covered 28000 miles all over Scotland. It returns 57 mpg on average and is a pure joy to drive. The gear selector dial on the dashboard is a massive improvement over the clunky agricultural great lever on the Merc and the whole vehicle is supremely useful.
My main reason for seeking you folks out just now is to ask about road tax ??
I have just paid for the first time as year one is free. The adverts and offers everywhere say this vehicle is in a tax band with 120 Grams per whatsit but my reg. document says 125 and I have to pay £105 instead of the £30 as I was led to believe.
Do any of you have any answers? Was I living in the halcyon land of clouds and cuckoos?
Anyway may I also wish you all the seasonal joys with your Citroens.
