Hello I am new here and am pleased to see a forum dedicated to the Berlingo as am considering buying a second hand Berlingo. Can anyone advise me what would be a better purchase engine wise: CITROEN BERLINGO
M-SP VT it is a 1.6 Di 71 BHP
or the CITROEN BERLINGO MULTISPACE.
1.9 DIESEL is 75 BHP? I heard that 71/54 BHP is under powered so I need to know if the 1.9 D would be the better purchase? Thanks for your help and Merry Christmas!!!

mk 1 1.9d slow but very reliable, 2.0 hdi good performance & mpg
mk 2 1.9 d " " ", 2.0 hdi " " ", 1.6 hdi avoid oil starvation turbo problems
mk 3 1.6 hdi generally ok if you oil service every 6000 miles and ones with dpf used not just urban, they need a good run to keep dpf clean
