Header tank

I am trying to monitor the water level in the header tank, and what a job this is turning out to be, very strange tank, I think because of the shape of the tank externally and how it is constructed internally it gives me three levels across from one side to the other............is this just me or has anyone else noticed this..

Mark 1 level with a marker pen & use that as your median.Confusedalut:
