wishbone replacement problem
#1
I'm replacing the front wishbone but having difficulty. The longer of the two bolts at the rear P bush won't go in - the holes just aren't lining up. I've tried jacking under the ball-joint to bring the P bush more horizontal but no good. Any one any bright ideas?

Sorted. I was jacking it until it was lifted just clear of the axle stand, which was the most I was happy with. You have to keep jacking until the straight bit of the P is totally horizontal.
Incidentally, the metal of the new P bush is thinner than the old one, so the ARB bush clamp will be tighter than it was before. Anyone else noticed this?
