First off I just found this site yesterday and I have to say im addicted!
Im buying my working van off my Dad who I work for, Im just wanting a bit of advice about doing an engine conversion. My van is a 600d x 1.9 diesel and hasnt been the most reliable van I have to say and as the days go on it is getting slower. Im wanting to put a good reliable diesel in its place, the thing is im not all up on french diesel engines. Im a BMW mechanic by trade and have carried out a few conversions with friends of mine!
My question is what would be a straight forward fit, I know none are really straight forward but I want something that im not going to have to start chopping the bulkead... 1.4HDI or 2.0HDI or something?
Next question... Im going to lower the van and I understand that coilovers from a 306 will fit straight into the front but what do you guys suggest for the rear?
