Will 307 16" alloys fit a Mk2?
#1
Will 307 16" alloys fit a 2007 Mk2?
They look like the picture attached.

I don't know what the offset is, so i thought i'd ask here to see if anyone has fitted/used these nice looking wheels on a berlingo van.
I realise they need different wheel fixture bolts.
Not sure if they are the same sizes as the 206 Nimrod style alloys? or if they even fit berlingo's ok?
Don't really want to use spacers if i can help it.
What about the 307 15" alloys like this?

What difference does it make to the driving/steering response
I can reconfig the speedo with my Lexia diag kit.

Thanks in advance, and it would be great for any photos of these wheels on a van Smile

Bit dissapointed no replies so far Sad :brickwall:

So the top picture 307 16" alloys i found data(hope its correct?) that the rim width is 6.5" and an ET(offset) of 31mm, with 205/55/16 tyres.

The OE fit 14" steels are 5.5" and an ET of 24mm with 175/65/14 tyres.
So steels are 5.5 x25.4mm= 140mm/2=70 +24mm =94mm behind drum face with rear wheel arch rim (not tyre) clearance of approx 20mm

So alloys are 6.5x25.4mm=165mm/2=83 +31 =114mm behind drum face?

Any brains here that can help me work this puzzle out? Confusedcratch:

The 16's rub inside on full lock on front & inside sidewall @ rear wheel arches.
Spacers might work tho? think i'll avoid.

Did you try changing to low profile tyres? These wheels rarely have em.

You need low offset wheels. Newer peugeot wheels won't fit. You need to search wheels from old 306's, 106's etc.

For a 6,5 width wheel you need an offset of 15mm or lower.

406 coupé ones are good because of the low offset. Also 306 peugeot cyclones will fit.

Other option is to use wheel spacers. An 31mm offset 6,5'' width wheel with 20mm spacers will fit without problem.

You need also narrow tyres. I suggest 195/45 if you go to 16''.

I had in the past the Pug 406 coupé 16'' Starfish wheels (7x16 et12) with 195/45 tyres and they fit without spacers and no rub at all. Perfect fit. Anr also looked very nice IMO. Currently rocking some 6,5x15 et15 with 195/50 without any problems too, perfect fit.

Also, about speedo errors, no major problem if you use 195/50 r15, 195/55 r15, 195/45 r16 or some other equivalent tyre size.

And, you will notice some more harsh suspension but the handling will be noticeably improved.
