Got up this morning tried central locking this would not work - opened van manually. Tried to start it up headlights came on, wipers came on and would not start up - got AA out all fuses checked dried out BSI on dash board as bit of moisture on it but still nothing - any ideas?? 2009 1.6hdi berlingo

You've lost connectivity with the control hub on the steering column. Usually just a blown fuse.

As you can tell I don't know anything about vans and fixing them so it looks like I am off to the garage - fuses ain't my thing !!
