Gearbox swap?
#1
I have a 53 plate 2.0 hdi but on gear changes it crunches going into third gear, I could pull it apart and change the syncro, but would prefere a "car" gear box.

I used to have a mk1 berlingo and changed the 1.9d for 1.9td inc the gear box from a 306, the ratios seemed better in the "car" box lol

So I suppose the question is will any early 2.0 hdi "car" box fit my van? Driveshafts clutch ect.

Also I'm looking at fitting a intercooler what car/van would this come from? A direct fit with minimal messing.

Thanx in advance

Hi jayspug thanx for reply, I will have a look about and see if I can match one up, as long as the bell housing bolts up and the splines are the same should be ok.

Cheers
